GCC Medical
As a prerequisite to employment in the Gulf countries all Indian Nationals taking up employment to GCC-member countries such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Yemen are required to be examined
and issued a medical fitness certificate. HEFCO is providing these services in New Delhi under the guidelines of the
Executive Board of the Health Ministers' Council for Gulf Cooperation Council States having its office at Riyadh, KSA.
HEFCO is a member of GAMCA - the GCC Approved Medical Centers Association in Delhi. It is organized in compliance with
the GCC requirement that medical certificates issued by the GAMCA member centers only, will be honored by the
health ministries and embassies of the GCC member countries in the processing of employment papers.
HEFCO aligns its main objective with the Expatriate Workers Check-up Project -
the most important programme of Executive Board of the Health Ministers' Council for GCC States to ensure. |
- That the specified medical, radiological and laboratory investigations are conducted at approved medical center/ facility only.
- That the medical tests performed, are uniform and exact adhering to GCC guidelines.
- The non arrival of any disease that may spread in some of the countries due to unscrupulous medical test at unspecified medical centers etc.
- Directly or indirectly, good Public Health of the member countries.
